The Registered Clinical Medical Massage Therapist course prepares students to provide professional, safe, and effective clinical massage services while developing a strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, therapeutic techniques, client assessment, and professional practice.
The course emphasizes Professional Ethics, Legal Responsibilities & Risk Management, including ethical standards, professional boundaries, informed consent, confidentiality, scope of practice, documentation, client safety, contraindications, incident prevention, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Students learn to recognize and manage potential risks, maintain appropriate professional conduct, communicate effectively with clients, and understand when referral to another qualified healthcare professional is necessary. Upon completion, students will be prepared to integrate clinical massage techniques with ethical, legal, and safety principles in a professional practice setting.
